40 years of nuclear medicine at RZM

Nuclear medicine examinations have been carried out in our practice in P7 for around 40 years. Dr Kämmerer, a pioneer and visionary at the time, brought diagnostics from the hospital to outpatient care in the 1970s. In a way, the RZM is the cradle of outpatient nuclear medicine.

Nuclear medicine continues to play a major role, especially for diagnostics in our thyroid centre, but also for functional examinations of the lungs, heart or kidneys and for tumour detection.
