New at the RZM: CT cardiac diagnostics
24.06.2012
We are pleased to introduce our new colleague, Mrs Carmen Czechak-Reimann. She joined our team at the beginning of the year.
Mrs Czechak-Reimann is a specialist in diagnostic radiology and worked as a senior physician at the Westpfalz-Klinikum Kaiserslautern until 2011.
One of Ms Czechak-Reimann's specialisms is cardiac CT, which we have been able to offer on our new state-of-the-art 64-row CT scanner since April.
CT scanner. This enables us to carry out examinations of the heart and, of course, all other body organs with the lowest possible radiation exposure. This is made possible by SAFIRE, the most modern iterative reconstruction method currently available from Siemens.
For many patients with unclear heart complaints, cardio (heart) CT can provide valuable additional information about the coronary arteries and in some cases spare them further invasive examinations. Patients with a cardiovascular risk profile, such as smokers, patients with a lipometabolic disorder or patients with high blood pressure, benefit in particular from this. Cardio-CT is a self-pay service, the costs are not covered by statutory health insurance.
Please contact us if this examination is suitable for you.
We will be happy to advise you on the individual risks, benefits and costs of the examination.
